Our club is designed for busy professionals. We meet on weekday mornings in the central area of Tokyo, making it convenient for you to participate before heading to work. By joining, you'll have the opportunity to learn leadership skills from fellow members and refine your public speaking abilities.

Our Meetings

Meetings

Date: Second and Fourth Thursdays each month (except August).

Time: 8:00 am – 9:30 am

* Attendees are recommended to arrive by 7:45 am to ensure a timely start to the meeting.

Place: Konwa Hall in Higashi Ginza.

Guests

Before becoming a member of Breakfast Toastmasters, you can join our meetings as a guest. As a guest, you will be able to observe how our meetings are conducted. You will also get a chance to talk to some of our existing members about their experience in the club and have any of your questions answered by our officers.

You may attend as a guest for up to three meetings prior to joining as a regular member.

* A reservation is needed prior to attending the meeting so we are able to prepare for your visit. Reservations must be confirmed before the next scheduled meeting. To register as a guest for our next meeting, please use the Contact Us form.

Membership

After you have visited a Breakfast Toastmasters meeting as a guest and are ready to join our club, the next step is to apply for membership. You will have an interview with some of our Breakfast Toastmasters Officers and submit an application to Toastmasters International. Once your membership has been approved, you will be ready to take on an active role in our club. All Breakfast Toastmasters are expected to attend meetings regularly.

Dues

Toastmasters International dues are payable every six months (April / October). The biannual dues are US$60 and are prorated based on the month you join.

Every half year, you will be invoiced for a member fee of JPY 17,000, which includes the Toastmasters International dues of US$60.
